Former Champion Chaser EL FABIOLO (2) seeks improvement on a fifth in the G1 Irish Champion Hurdle over 3218m here at the start of the month. Drops into easier company and looks very hard to beat. MAXXUM (1) ran creditably when third in the G1 Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse then backed it up with another third attempting the G2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan beaten 4.5L. Main danger. SOIR DE GARDE (3) resumes after 323 days. Won a 3319m maiden hurdle at Tramore on only run last campaign and is open to sharp progress. LINDEN ARDEN (4) arrives in form after a Punchestown win then a Fairyhouse second contesting 4023m. Can bounce back.
