CALL OUT (1) was safely held last start when 11th over 1400m at Gold Coast. May appreciate the shorter journey this time. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be in the finish. FRENCH EMPIRE (2) finished seventh when resuming last start at Blackall over 1050m. Has since changed yards and significantly he won second-up when last in work. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WORKSMEUP (4) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1000m at Barcaldine. Fitter so a likely improver.
