LEICA FLAMINGO (11) is free running and improved again, comfortably beating a maiden field over 1400m at Rockhampton. Draws well and doubt this is much harder. Sits down on the weights, and she's a decent chance to go back-to-back. RUM RUMBLE (1) had been threatening before delivering here this grade over a shorter sprint. Tackles 1300m for the first time, but he's been hitting the line hard and tipping it will suit. FOUR LEAF WONDER (6) went close at Emerald and then Rockhampton before a plain effort at Thangool. Has been kept on the fresh side, and a much better effort is on the cards. ZAYA (4) races forward and missed a nose here over 1100m first-up in a CL2. Has to manage a wide gate today and carry more weight, but deserves consideration regardless.
