Mahoning Valley Race 2 - Race 2 - Mdn Special Weight
WHISKEY RIVER RUN (1) Claimed late when 3rd beaten by nearly 11L last time at Thistledown and having second career run. Likely to be well placed early. Has the ideal alley. Will go well. DRILL SGT. GABE (8) Amongst the placegetters when 2nd last time at Thistledown and was a debutant last start. Won't be far away. FULL OF MALICE (7) Struggled with the pace when 8th last run at Thistledown. Expecting improvement here. Should be swooping on the field late. Capable of forward showing and can be competitive. CAPITAL T (2) Weakened under pressure when 5th last run at Thistledown but was on debut last time. Drawn nicely. One for the multis.

Set a strong tempo before tiring to place 3rd beaten by just short of 11L last time at Thistledown and having second race start. Should race on the speed. Solid chance.

Odds of $11.00 and couldn't maintain the pace when 5th last run at Thistledown but having second career run. Can find a nice position from the draw. Prefer in something a lot easier.

At $23.00 came in 6th last time at Thistledown but fitter for debut run. Jockey Mauro Cedillo and trainer Louis V Ruberto Jr link well together. Hard to recommend.
