He will relish stepping up to 2810m for his peak run, and he is the one to beat in this. AERONAUTIC (6) finished third when resuming from a spell last start over 2410m at this track. He profiles nicely, and will strip a lot fitter second up. He is the main threat to the top pick. AL NAYYIR (2) resumes today after finishing in a minor placing at his last appearance in the G2 Lonsdale Cup at York over 3319m on August 22. He is normally running on, and he can have the last say in this, especially off a likely genuine tempo. SUNWAY (1) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 2810m in G3 company on this track. He can never be written off over the longer journey's.
