Mornington Race 9 - Sportsbet Hareeba Stakes (L)

Tough Hareeba Stakes. Looking for one at odds and MARBLE NINE (5) appeals. He resumes here off a nice jumpout win. He didn't fire in two runs last campaign but go back to Winter last year and his form was excellent for this. Drawn very wide isn't ideal but most of the speed is so he can just follow them across and look for a spot. LA FRACAS (12) looks set to peak here off two good runs in Sydney this time in. He's been in stronger races and got home well, in on the minimum here. If the sting is out he'll go close. CORNICHE (3) found his form last start at Flemington to win the Bob Hoysted. Back to 1200m is fine, he'll take holding out. POP AWARD (8) was another to find her form last start and win in mare's grade. She drops 3kg and will be running on. RECON (17) wasn't far off CORNICHE first up and has some upside, suited going to 1200m.
