PRESSER (5) gets the nod on his stronger overall profile, with the Caulfield third two starts ago showing he can be highly competitive around this level when right. The ninth last start was plain, but he's third-up, has won at this track and distance and gets a lovely weight swing on LIM'S SALTORO (1). He does bring the best recent black-type form after thirds in the Listed Seymour Cup and Listed Testa Rossa Stakes and blinkers on from a good draw suggest intent. WONDER BOY (2) has been well held in two runs back, yet this is easier than the Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes and he is already a track-and-trip winner with Jamie Mott returning. RESET THE JAZZ (6) has to lift from Coonamble, but his third in a BM84 at this track two back reads well enough for a placing. AZTEC RULER (3) is a minor hope but struggles to win.

Has been holding form strongly in black-type company, finishing third in the Listed Seymour Cup at Seymour after beginning awkwardly and being beaten just over a length by Wymark. The run prior was another solid third in the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes at Caulfield, where he was an outside chance in the betting but finished within a length and a half of Regal Zeus. Bit of weight but sets up well otherwise.

Has been slow away and well held in both runs this campaign, finishing last in the Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes at Caulfield after making no impression late. The run prior was also plain in the G2 Bobbie Lewis Quality at Flemington, albeit over 1200m and at long odds. This is easier than Saturday company, first-time blinkers go on, and he has won at this track and distance. Can improve now.
