LOS PADRES (5) is the top pick after a strong fresh performance at Hawkesbury, where he came from well back, raced wide throughout and still ran third in a BM64, beaten 1.8L. He rates highly on the back of that effort and with further improvement expected, he can land the knockout blow. TEYLU (2) resumes from Saturday BM78 form, having been beaten only 1.5L at Rosehill after leading deep into the straight. He boasts a strong fresh record and his form before the break stands out. Can give a bold sight. GUNROOM (6) has been performing at a higher level for a while now and steps up to 1200m. JVO's booking is a big push for his chances and he maps to get every chance. KEIKOKU (3) flew over the top to win the Black Mountain in a photo. Loy hops on board now and out to 1200m is a big tick. Watch for him late in the race. That followed a solid Canberra third behind Bon Frankie over 1200m, where he was held up around the home turn and still finished within two lengths.
