Mountaineer Park Race 5 - Race 5 - Mdn Special Weight
BIG G (1) Improved to place when 3rd last start at the track and having second career run. Always seems to find the line well. Drawn the rails. Key player. GENERAL TOM (4) Lost ground in the run home when 7th last start at Kentucky Downs. Should improve here but back to a shorter distance. Respect against this field. ROTTEN CORE (5) 2yo by Core Beliefs having first race appearance for trainer Rodney C Faulkner. Respect the betting. DISCREET BOY (9) Gave away some ground when 9th last time at Horseshoe Indianapolis but will find this grade more suitable. Can get the job done.

Was strong late when 3rd beaten by 5 1/4L last start around here and was on debut last time. Possesses very good closing speed. Drawn beautifully. Holds a major chance.

Started $14.00 and looked outclassed when 5th last run at Horseshoe Indianapolis but has a positive draw. Should race on the speed. Has some claims.

Started at $36.00 and ran 4th last time at Kentucky Downs and down in distance. Yuri Yaranga is in good form for this stable. Prefer in a much weaker race.

Odds of $14.00 and didn't threaten when 7th last start at Kentucky Downs. Should improve here but dropping in distance. Should go close.

At $18.00 faded away to finish 9th last start at Horseshoe Indianapolis but fitter for debut run. Likely to be well placed early. Not in this.

Struggled with the pace when 9th last time at Horseshoe Indianapolis but challenged by weaker competitors. Watch the betting.

Resumes from a spell. Was $25.00 and couldn't stay in touch when 8th last time at Belterra Park but having second career run. This field likely to be too good.
