MARACOURT (2) unleashed a strong turn of foot when narrowly beaten first-up at Oakbank. Was below his best second-up before bouncing back at headquarters last time, warming late. While untested at the trip, his sectionals suggest he'll handle it. ISUSPECTJEU (4) is going better than her form suggests. Performed well first-up in the Queen Of The South Stakes, beaten only 2.4 lengths after settling back in the field. Nearing peak fitness now, she gets in light with the 3kg claim and shapes as a major player. BURNING BRIGHT (3) has developed into a reliable stayer for the Gluyas camp. Drops back to a more suitable assignment after a midfield finish in the PA Cup three weeks ago. Loves this distance and brings ratings good enough.
