Slow into stride and chipped away late when fifth over 1150m at Illawarra Grange. Finds an easier race with leading apprentice aboard. MAKO (3) three weeks between runs when he went out quickly before folding up in the straight to finish seventh over 1450m at Illawarra Grange. This shapes as a much easier contest. Each way.
