Nowra Race 1 - Superior Turf Solutions Mdn Plate
TARTAN TIGER (8) stuck on well on debut over 1200m in a stronger maiden at Wyong and looks well placed coming to Country level today. She closed off well there first up and the rise to 1200m now looks ideal. Ticks plenty of boxes and can get the job done this time. BELLARATA (4) was gunned down from the front last start over 1200m at Goulburn but she'll have a strong fitness base for this. Getting up to 1400m may allow her to dictate a little more from a good draw today and she'll be hard to run down from the front. ZOUSTRONG (2) sat handy last start but was no match for the winner when beaten 3L at Kembla. This looks a little easier on paper and the step out to 1400m now should suit. Can go one better. MOUNTAIN QUEEN (7) has trialled well coming into this and is not to be discounted on resumption. AUSBRED ECLIPSE (1) can fire a shot on debut.
