SMOKIN' GENIE (5) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1100m at Wellington, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MR GUNNA DO (2) showed little early speed last start then came with a powerful run to finish third over 1100m at Wellington. Hard to hold out. FROSTY THE SHOWMAN (1) got well back over 1700m at Wellington last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 6 lengths away in seventh. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PLUCK 'N' SPY (3) finished second at Tottenham two runs back but was less effective last time over 1400m at Grenfell, finishing 14 lengths back in seventh. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
