Tricky little 2yo race to open. Leaning to MISNEACH (5), a gelding by Maurice on debut for the Price & Kent Jnr yard. He's had a couple of nice jumpouts and the stable always have to be respected with their newcomers here. SOUND SYSTEM (6) has the form on the board, returning with a good run for third here over 1100m when finding the line well. He'll be fitter for the rise in trip and race experience counts for plenty. LEVATE (7) is a filly by Ghaiyyath on debut for the Maher yard who has won a jumpout at Ballarat Synthetic and can figure at the early double figures.
