PRAY DAY (7) looks primed for this third up. He's just found one better in two runs back, beaten a head last start at Caulfield Heath over 1800m in a strong showing. Back slightly in trip here but that won't be an issue with his sole win to date coming over the mile. He'll kick up from the inside gate and take plenty of catching. DRUTHERS (4) was disappointing at Bairnsdale last time when well supported off an easy maiden win at Kilmore. He can turn things around quickly. ELVIS (5) is racing well, giving a bold sight at Geelong when last seen in a BM56. This doesn't look any harder, if he can slot in just behind them he'll go close.
