THINK PINK DAZE (7) flew home from the rear as favourite to score at Northam in a CL1 before the break, highlighting the talent she possesses. She'll be fitter for a recent trial and Pike rides from a favourable alley. Wouldn't surprise to see her go to another level this time in work. SPLIT THE GEE (2) was tried in the Burgess Queen before a break where she was just outclassed. She was in good form prior in Saturday grade and this looks a very suitable race for her return. The inside draw is a big tick and if she's here ready to fire without a trial, she'll be hard to hold out. MISS VALMALENCO (3) rolled forward from out wide last start and was too strong at Belmont, winning by 1.1L. Nottle can do the same today from the wide alley and with fitness on her side, she'll be hard to catch. CASSENITE (5) is looking for the hat-trick and is not to be discounted. STARTLING STAR (6) can make an impression first-up.
