Has had one quiet trial since that only race day appearance. Trained here and should be ready to make a positive return. ALBY'S MATE (2) returned after nearly a year off the scene with an encouraging third over this distance at Muswellbrook last start. Speedy customer who has been in the money at four of his eight runs. Back in good order and should give them something to catch. SWEET MARLENE (9) is first-up following an 11-month break. Goes well when fresh, placing at three of five attempts. No trials to use as a guide so keep a close watch on the betting. MARKWELL MELODY (6) has been freshened up since a poor run at Muswellbrook five weeks ago. Gets a few gear changes which may help the cause. The lightly raced ZELENKA (12) resumes after a 19-week spell. Wasn't far away on debut last prep so expect her to come to hand quickly.
