MUSUMECI (2) is backing up four days after he was safely held at Grafton against better opposition. Can atone. BON BATAN (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close second when second-up over 1200m at Inverell. Nicely placed to maintain the form. THE MICHAEL (4) returns and strips fitter for a quiet trial here. Doesn't find a deep maiden, so is one to keep in mind. VOYSEY (5) didn't fire a shot on debut at Grafton before heading straight back to the paddock. Should find this easier but needs to have improved.
