SPONARS (3) was very competitive through his last campaign at Provincial level and has won both of his trials this time in in impressive fashion. Ticks plenty of boxes from the inside barrier and Chambers sticks from the trials. Can return with a bang. ROSELILY (9) only had one trial back in August last year and was scratched when slipping in the tie-ups before she was meant to debut at the end of March. McDougall's booking is a good push for her chances and she can make an impression on debut. SYMBOL OF STATE (10) is racing well and is not to be discounted back slightly in trip. Race depth tapers off noticeably thereafter. PIRATESS (11) has the least convictions of the rest.
