WHY SO HARD (4) returned from an 18-week spell and was lining up for only the second time when an eye-catching third in the 1200m Roman Consul at Rosehill last start. Should have no trouble running a strong mile. Exciting prospect who can use this as a stepping stone to better things. CENTRAL EUROPE (2) has had wraps on him since day one but remains a maiden after six appearances. Won't have Warwoven to contend today and he should be rock hard fit after four runs in elite races this prep. D-Day for him. REVENGEANCE (3) finished 2.5 lengths behind Warwoven two back but didn't flatter either side of that outing. Can finish top four if he runs to his best. OMOLONG (5) might not be up to this grade but from a nice gate he is worth throwing in the exotics.
