Randwick Race 6 - Asahi Super Dry Craven Plate (G2)

LINDERMANN (1) failed to handle Caulfield two back then started short and looked home only for Attrition to nail him late in the 1900m Rosehill Hill Stakes last start. Likes to bowl along in front and he should pack too much punch for these. ELIYASS (3) followed LINDERMANN all the way in the Hill Stakes last time and had his chance but could only continue pursuing today's rival, eventually finishing third. Has been up for a while and it is doubtful there is any improvement left this prep. Still too good to rule out. TOM KITTEN (2) returned to form in the Epsom two weeks ago, poking through late to get up for third. His best form is certainly good enough so he must be respected. PANOVA (8) settled last and didn't pass a runner in the Toorak over this trip recently. Fitter now and while a win looks unlikely she is worth throwing in exotics. PLYMOUTH (5) ran out of his skin in the Epsom and the longer trip can only help.
