THUNDERING SOUL (6) is returning from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Finished sixth at Gosford over 1100m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Pat Webster. Nicely placed and expected to go well. A LOT OF BOOTY (5) tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 6 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. TOSMIAN (7) finished second last time over 900m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 3 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. GITALONG (2) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Cheryl Rogers yard. Finished off last campaign with a ninth at Bendigo six-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but goes well fresh from a spell, filling a placing three times from five runs. One of the main chances.
