MAGNATEAR (3) loomed strongly in a solid rating contest from the wide gate with a tenacious fourth to King Of Roseau over 1400m in the LR Magic Millions Cup at the Gold Coast. Can get a soft lead from the draw and prove hard to run down. KIND WORDS (10) kept fresh for this after dropping in trip for a decisive victory over 1600m in the G3 Belle of the Turf Stakes at Gosford from a wide gate. Kept up to the mark with a 1000m tick over trial and will give a great sight. THUNDERLIPS (6) mixing form this campaign and there doesn't look to be as much pressure today which should help his cause. Assess on his good second two-back in the LR Carrington. Solid top-three prospect. LORD PENMAN (2) progressive gelding resuming. Ran a slashing second to Linebacker in the G3 Silver Eagle over 1300m last October. Fitted with the two trials and will be giving them a big start. PALMETTO (1) big drop in grade on resumption and fitted with the two trials. Proven fresh and can hold a forward position.
