SHIKI (9) kept fresh after she drifted back further than expected with a respectable seventh in the LR Magic Millions 2yo Classic at the Gold Coast over 1200m. Like the way she accelerated in her recent trial win over 899m at Canterbury. Can slide across with her stablemate and get the job done. STRETAN RULER (3) comes up from Victoria with the two solid runs in Listed and Group company. Nailed to the fence when he failed to go with them to secure fourth over 1100m in the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&Gs) at Caulfield. Blinkers go on and can test some of his more fancied rivals. HIDRIX (2) saved for the final crack at them from the inside gate with a comfortable debut win over 1100m in the G3 Canonbury Stakes at this track. Tricky map this time and finds a tougher contest. INCOGNITO (1) pulled up with a slow recovery rate on resumption with a disappointing fifth in the G3 Canonbury Stakes. Has a host of gear changes and deserves another chance. CONFEDERATION (4) stays in the mix.
