SUFFOLK STAR (2) narrowly on top, off the back of a good first-up run here over 2400m when working home well off a tempo much slower than he'd have liked. Getting into fifth there reads well, going to the 3000m here and expect the yard to have him nice and fit second up. STERN IDOL (1) resumes. He's the champion jumper who will be tuning up for Warrnambool here. That said, he's certainly adept on the flat and you know he'll stay the trip strongly. DIGGERS AIM (5) struggled last time at Pakenham but had been coming along well prior and could appreciate this trip now. MOTIVER (6) can mix his form but did place over this route two back which reads well. REBADGE (8) struggles to win but is bred to relish this trip and could be an improver.
