Tricky little staying race. FOIRE DE TRONE (9) was a solid winner over 2100m two back before a good effort up in grade at Caulfield where Belle Savoir gapped the field. The form in behind has stood up nicely and she looks primed getting to 2400m now with Jabez Johnstone sticking from a soft gate. EMPRESS OF THE SUN (8) is the danger. She's been sent out favourite her past couple behind the in-form Nearco Frod, just fair to the line here last time. Gets a senior on and will be up on speed which is key. WUDDZZ (1) is going well having finished fourth in the Banjo Paterson Final at Flemington last time, a race where SAMUEL LANGHORNE (4) finished third. WUDDZZ wants it wetter which is the knock here. SAMUEL LANGHORNE needs another win but has the ability. CUSTOMER SERVICE (7) brings the Nearco Frod form and is in the mix.
