RED FLAG (6) was prominent from the outset when second over 1308m at this track (Dirt) last time out. Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. COMEDY TOWN (5) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success as favourite over 1207m at this track (Dirt) six-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. THE LAST STRAW (4) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win last time out over 1207m at this track (Dirt). Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with M Demuro who was on board last start. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. SIMPLE SONG (7) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 14 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 1308m. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to bounce back.
