ELECTRIC BLISS (11) came from last to get up for third on debut over this distance at Kembla two back. Raced closer and didn't finish off over 1300m at Newcastle last start. Back to a country maiden over 1200m which looks a nice scenario. Should be right there at the business end. NEAREST (2) was scratched from a longer race earlier on to be kept for this. Last raced when a closing fourth over 1280m at Muswellbrook on 1 May. Two recent trials should have him ready to run a big race. The interesting runner is OAKFIELD VIRGINIA (4) who has not appeared since starting favourite and finishing third on debut over this distance at Tamworth in August 2025. Trial form suggests she is forward enough to run a decent race. FIZZ WIZZ (7) defied the market when a slashing third on debut over 1000m at Canberra recently. Sure to prove hard to hold out over a bit more ground today. Newcomer THE AUTUMN WIND (8) has been well found in early markets after a big trial win here recently.
