Competitive clash between the two McEvoy horses and we're siding with EXPENSIVE TASTE (2) who is yet to win a race but has placed in all four starts. She was heavily backed into $1.55 fresh at Ballarat Synthetic when closing off for second but her third in the G2 VRC Sires last campaign says she won't be a maiden long at all. LIFT NET (1) won at Ballarat Synthetic first up over a consistent type and off that, the rise in trip should suit nicely. He's got plenty of upside to come and draws for a nice run just off the speed with Coffey sticking. AND THERE YOU GO (8) has raced twice to date, solid o debut at Donald before a good effort in a Listed race in Adelaide. She finds a nice race to be measuring up. NO FRIENDS (4) ran well on debut at Bendigo behind a talented winner Penchenko. Up quickly up in trip but has claims. VICTORIOUS DREAM (6) is an Almanzor gelding for the Hunter yard who can run well off some solid jumpouts.
