Sha Tin Race 7 - The Longines Hong Kong Mile (G1)

The G1 Hong Kong Mile now and VOYAGE BUBBLE (2) looks the one to beat coming back from a game performance behind Romantic Warrior last time out. Purton remains in the saddle today and he's had a quiet trial since to keep him up to the mark. Can roll across from out wide and be very tough to hold out. MY WISH (10) jumped the $1.40 fave in the lead-up here 21 days ago and stuck on well with the placegetters coming from well back in the field. This looks to shape beautifully from the barrier and that last start SP holds plenty of weight. Can bounce back to winning ways. EMBROIDERY (14) won the G1 Shuka Sho over 2000m last start and drops back to the mile today. That's not an issue however with her G1 Oka Sho win rating highly. Takes on the older horses today but has plenty of class an can't be discounted. GALAXY PATCH (5) won the lead-up and has to be included for J-Mac. THE LION IN WINTER (13) creates interest at a big price with some handy global formlines.
