STEELY HUSTLER (10) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1175m at Manangatang. This looks a suitable progression now third up and Dean Yendall is a big plus at meetings like this. SUGAR AND SWEET (4) is back at the races for the first time since June 6 and it's worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1100m at Mortlake. Should be hard to stop. FLUX (3) was below his best last time out when 8 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1207m at Kilmore. Comes down a level this time and is one to consider. ATTABOOM (8) took a long time to post the second career win, but backed it up with a good performance last time and has to be kept in mind while in this vein of form. EL SALTO (2) is an old-timer who seems to go around each week in races like this. He struggles to win, but is capable to sneaking a top-four spot.
