KING EMPEROR (1) drove hard to get off the mark at Ipswich, where he justified his firm market support. His previous run at this track was better than sixth reads, with interference and a held-up passage before he charged home, and the recent trial has kept him up to the mark. SILENT ANSWER (3) also brings winning form, having won her maiden here last time when charging hard late. Has further improvement in store and should appreciate the extra 200m. CAISHEN (2) has chased gamely into the placings in both runs back and should be hitting his straps now stretching to the mile. Is another genuine threat. ROARING SUCCESS (6) was unwanted in betting at Beaudesert but ran second after being forced wide. Strips rock-hard fit and may be able to sneak a minor spot if they overdo it in front.
