Sunshine Coast Poly Track Race 3 - Kawana Dolphins (Bm68)

TEN GOOD REASONS (5) gets the nod after a much sharper BM65 second on the course proper, where he loomed up on heavy ground and was beaten just under a length. He rises in grade and tackles the poly for the first time, but the Rodd combination is solid and the inside draw will give him a great look on the quick back-up. HEART AND SPIRIT (4) is the clear danger on her best figures, with a narrow CL5 second two starts back and a genuine excuse when wide after an awkward start at Eagle Farm last week. BLAKEMORE AVENUE (3) has improved through the campaign and was held up late when third to Oohlalouvre, while her 1100m record gives her a reliable platform. KING OF THE JUNGLE (7) has been close enough in similar form lines and can hold a minor-winning hope if he finishes off better than his latest fourth.
