Tamworth Race 7 - Peel Valley Tyres (Bm58)

IT'S A WRITTEN (14) deserved to break Maidens at Inverell over 1400m as a $3.7 favourite and then came home beaten just 1.2L over 1200m in a CL1. Roper replaces the apprentice and from the handy gate she has solid each-way claims. BOLT AWAY NOW (4) won a CL1 at Inverell over this trip from the pace and then tacked a Highway in town and didn't get into it after an awkward start. He's much better suited at home and at this level and winning rider Bullock is a key jockey engagement. Tough to beat. GRANDINI (6) draws awkwardly, but she resumed in good order at Scone and flies second-up. Has a small claim and will be right in it if things go her way. HALO PHENOMENA (2) is a leader who followed a big Bathurst win this grade with a admirable effort at Musswellbrook in a CL3. Has more weight at this level but they haven't claimed preferring to reunited winning rider Heywood. Will skip over from the wide gate and can't be ruled out.
