PINERO (7) jumped in trip with a battling third over 1400m at this track. Will relish the claim and put herself into the contest from the good barrier. VARIUS (12) was unwanted in betting on debut and ran accordingly with a plugging fifth over 1312m at Taree. Should come on for that effort and not without each way prospects. CHASING QUIVERS (4) on the quick backup with a fading fifth over 1200m at Mudgee. Earlier efforts had merit and finds an easier contest.
