OUR PAPPY (2) is resuming from a long spell after showing promise earlier in his career. He must be worth keeping in work, and he showed he still has the talent after cruising home to score in his latest trial at Port Macquarie. The blinkers go on for the first time, and he can win fresh up. MARKWELL MUSIC (6) tried hard when finishing fourth over 805m at Coffs Harbour just over a month ago. The blinkers are off, and she can figure in the top 4 again. HE'STHECHIEF (1) came back from a spell two weeks ago and was in the mix around the bend before finishing sixth, 4 lengths off the winner, over 1100m at Scone. With that run under his belt, he should be fitter and ready for a stronger showing this time. COUSIN CHUCK (4) hasn't been seen since his debut on September 27, when he ran seventh over 1000m at Gunnedah, but he's capable of sharp improvement. THE SIMPLE LIFE (7) resumes from a spell, and is not the worst for top 4 combos at a price.
