Has the inside gate and races forward. Should be tough to beat. HIT THE ROAD JACK (4) won twice over hurdles before the break and needed the first-up at Terang on the flat. Steps up plenty in distance, but he's on a 7-day return and can get some of the better money. CASTROFRANCARU (2) may have the measure of CHEROKEE BRAVE (6), but both would need to lift to be winning.
