Lots of these beaten a long way in both races and trials. ON THE CUSP (8) was safely held by the easy winner but ran on hard from the back on debut over 870m here, finishing runner-up. Looks to have good upside and can measure up this time. TISANI JAMES (3) was big odds and ran well enough on debut for fourth, albeit seven lengths away. Given a good break and sure to have improved. SHOES AND SOCKS (2) gave a sight on debut before fading right out. Senior rider goes on and worth keeping safe. POWER HIT (1) was thereabouts in two runs in first campaign and can return improved. DISCO DIAMOND (7) was well beaten fresh at Ipswich but can do much better here.
