OFF THE PRESS (8) has been terrific in his two runs back, coming through strong Sydney benchmark racing. Gets in light with the claim and should be hitting his straps now. He's a long way from Gundagai but suspect it'll be worth the trip. FACUNDO (2) is drawn to get back but has returned in good order and can play a role late if the pace is genuine. SIR WINNIE (12) returns and is a noted winner. Has been fitted with a trial win and reunites with Jones, who knows him well. LITTLE BEGINNINGS (10) is rock-hard fit and boasts peaks that measure up under this light weight. Not forgetting. STANISLAUS (4) dug deep to score by a lip at Doomben last time. Will look to spear across and race handy from out there. Can't knock his form.
