The extra 150m here will suit him, and he has the scope to take the next step immediately. PLATINUM DIAMOND (5) rushed through the grades as a late-season juvenile and early 3-year-old before being put aside to mature. She looked in good shape when winning a recent Foxton trial, and she will be ready to rumble, especially if the track is wet. LADY IRIS (6) failed to handle a heavy track at Tauranga 2 weeks ago on a day when they were not running on. She is better than that, and if the track is reasonable, then she can bounce straight back into the money here. CHEERIO (8) let down strongly to win here 8 weeks ago, and if she doesn't need the run, then she can figure in the top 4 in this. Stick with her. TOO SWEET (3) is resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good. She has had a couple of quiet tune-up trials, and is worth including.
