PONDERING (3) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 0.8 lengths over 1408m in the G3 Bessarabian Stakes at Woodbine. Takes on much easier opposition this time. Top chance in this field. MINK'S PALACE (10) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at Listed level at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 1207m after she had travelled in a rearwards position. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. ELLEN JAY (2) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Churchill Downs (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 7 lengths over 1207m. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. CIVETTA (7) built on a nice third when fresh from a spell two starts back at Keeneland (Turf) with a win over 1106m at Churchill Downs (Turf) six weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
