ARBITER (9) impressed when successful on debut over 1006m at Churchill Downs (Turf) two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. REB FIVE (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 1308m at Woodbine last time, getting there by 5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. NINE BALL (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 22 lengths when fifth in a 1207m contest at Churchill Downs six-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. UNCLE BUCKY (1) resumes after a break of ten weeks. Hoping for a repeat of his debut win over 1006m at Horseshoe Indianapolis to kick off last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
