HORS JEU (3) quickly turned things around last time producing a much improved effort when beaten only a nose in a 3200m steeplechase at Hereford. Sets a solid standard and will prove hard to beat. JACK BLACK (2) showed a clear return to form finishing second over 3200m at Taunton. Major player. A GREAT EXCUSE (4) is proving inconsistent of late having scored by 1.3 at Lingfield before coming to grief last time at Huntingdon. Capable of being competitive if jumping is sound. WILLIE SHAKE HANDS (1) holds mixed his form this season. Most recently was 20L from the winner at Haydock. Place claims at best.
