TREAD THE BOARDS (6) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1100m at Scone last start after being in contention on the bend, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Gunnedah the run before. Finds a nice race and can take this out. ELLATI (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 4 lengths, over 1000m at Glen Innes. Has further improvement to come and is expected to run well. ACIRA (3) turned in a modest performance when 11th last time out over 900m at Gunnedah, beaten 11 lengths. That followed a win at Quirindi at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CLAN D'ORO (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Murwillumbah, beaten 9 lengths into eighth. No surprise to see her in the frame.
