Moderate race where TILL QUEEN (12) gets chance. Fitter for two runs back and put the writing on the wall last time with a narrow second. Looks hard to hold out again. HALF SCOTCH (8) looks the clear danger. Six start maiden who found the 1100m too sharp fresh but fitter again and the extra trip is a big plus. IMPULSIVE REACTION (2) is a first-starter by Shamus Award out of Impulsive Liaison. Well educated with six hit-outs leading into this, the latest when placing in a Cranbourne jump-out. Blinkers on and expected to measure up. Likewise SPICY APPLE (3) is a well educated first starter with the blinkers on for debut and a low draw. Gelding by Prince Of Caviar from Miss Margs and from a stable with a strong strike-rate with the debutantes. PLATINUM RUSH (10) was safely held last time but this easier and the blinkers go on.
