STEEL RAIN (2) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1405m at Tuncurry. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. ROCK'N ON UPTOWN (6) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1605m at Tuncurry after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has the class to take care of this field. THE MYSTERY GUY (3) did little and finished 12 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1405m at Tuncurry last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Quirindi the run before. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. RELIEVED (4) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1305m at Tuncurry, beaten 7 lengths into sixth. Well placed to bounce back.
