Werribee Race 1 - Corio Waste Management Mdn Plate
SMOKE SCREEN (14) deserves to be considered the one to beat of those we've seen given she probably should have won her first two runs this prep. Last start too bad to be true and she's probably better suited back to this trip. SHE'S EXCESSIVE (13) has been hard to miss at the jumpouts. Has won 5 of the 6 she's contested - two of which have been this prep - and hasn't appeared to be fully let off the leash. What she's shown is she's got the early dash to overcome the wide gate. BEAR CHAMP (1) comes from Hong Kong, where he wasn't disgraced in his first couple of runs, and has won a couple of jumpouts at Sandown which suggests he's settled in well. RAINING FIRE (10) was no match for BEAR CHAMP in her latest jumpout but she was good in town on debut and has the advantage of the inside alley here. BOLTING BLUE (4) was well-held on debut but that was on Heavy ground and has jumped out well nicely a couple of times since.
