BEST TERMS (1) looks the one to beat, narrowly. He's placed in both runs back from a spell, battling on for third when heavily supported at Ballarat last start in a good maiden. This is another good race but the rise to 1600m should suit ideally and he should get a good run on speed. Wary of MELEYS (13) who is knocking on the door and tried hard here despite being beaten four lengths last start by Himalayan, who was heavily backed and ran well in town last week. She'll go close. SIGN UP (8) is So You Think gelding for Grahame Begg on debut. He's jumped out fairly but kicking off at a mile looks a good sign and the yard have to be respected. LINKENHOLT (4) is a Shamus Award gelding for the Moody & Coleman yard who can run well first time of asking.
