Tricky. WAVETON (8) was backed off the map at Hawkesbury on debut and held on well from the speed beaten 1.75 lengths over 1100m. Will benefit from that experience, and the local can go one better. HO ALOHA (3) resumes and is right into this if presented forward. Owns a Rosehill trial win and has the winkers on for the first time. THE MAGNET (7) was tipped out after a promising debut and jumped a $2 favourite at Gosford first-up and disappointed, with the stewards questioning the ride. Has a senior hoop aboard today, and with the extra fitness, quick improvement is likely. SIR LES (2) debuts and brings two metro trial wins. Jumps from the inside gate and has to be kept safe. STELLAA LASS (6) debuts at home and missed a lip in a recent Beaumont (Newcastle) trial. Keep an eye on the betting with her as well.
