Had excuses when last at Nowra, where he jumped awkwardly, was tightened near the 600m and still picked up late, but he was big odds there and had also been well beaten at Hawkesbury. Blinkers go on for the first time and weight relief helps, while his long 1000m record is useful. Happy to watch.
